reprep oil to graphite/completly strip or keep wax

If turning a oil wheel to graphite, should I be careful and
completely strip out wax and oil with Dawn,
Or just wash with car wash soap to leave wax and maybe
rewax and burnish, (already had 2 coats RRocket applied)
I really hate to do 2 more coats of wax if not needed.
I just did not know if the car wash soap would remove the oil well enough.

Car wash will be best. How long has it been since you prepped them? If it's more than a couple of months, I'd rewax.

Thanks Kinser, I will just use the car wash soap then re wax once.
