Agreed. You did well.

I been at this for almost 3 years, and most of the folks that are faster than me have been at it longer than me. Keep building; you'll get there.

Send me a car (or Stephen, MAGLEV, or anyone you talk too). All of us can give you tips. I saw things just from repairing your scout cars that will help you.

(and if I am particularly active today, I'm in a all-day meeting, struggling to pay attention)

You did well Nate, but I will point out that you tied my slower car........lol

LOL... I was a Ballistic sandwich with a little Bulldog on top.

We are all close at this point. close racing among the rookies is exciting and motivates me.

Hey, since even we rookies are about efficiency here, do you ever notice, after you click on results, you just immediately scroll to the bottom and start working your way backward to find where you are? I noticed that's what I do. Hey, at this stage of the game it still makes sense. It's quicker.

I would never do this, even if I knew I came in last. I would read every racer starting from #1. Your conscious habits cause your subconscious to get you to do things that make your beliefs a reality.

Probably true Kinser. I'm still climbin' though! Once that Anya car was track tuned after the race, it ran 26s.

Have all rookie classes been this cordial? We have a good rookie class on the track and off. We are all good sports it seems. After the first race, I think I was the rookie to beat, then Ballistic showed me how it was done in the Basx class, now King is making steady upward progress. True North and Coffin Nail, like King, appear to be skilled craftsmen, so they WILL be good once they iron out the details.

Ballistic has still had the most success up to this point, but King and I are right there.

Whether you think you can or can't, you're right. Positive self talk is a must and something I used extensively when I was bowling competitively.

Very true no matter the task at hand! And I fully understand the bowling viewpoint.

Self belief positive thinking and goal setting is everything rest is hard work and determination. Once you make up your mind and set a winning target the matrix aligns itself around you to make it happen! Every conscious and subconscious act, thought keeps you on task and one step closer to your goal. Three years ago I swallowed the red pill and discovered how deep the rabbit hole goes and ...... The light, I see it now!
Gotta climb out and see what the world's been up to while I was plugged into the matrix!!

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. – Lao Tzu

When you let go, you allow yourself to accept the changes in life. Sometimes life changes anyway, but to reach your full potential, you have to let go of your old limits, and those things that hold you in this place. They might be old beliefs, they might be old values, and they might be old places. Sometimes, moving to the next level is as much about what you gain as what you leave behind.

I believe this could be applied to league racing as well.

I belive i will never win a race here

C'mon Troy! You regularly make the finals and you are just a tick behind the winner. If you keep doing that, the wins will come. I look at you as one of the top guys in the fat wheel classes. I wish I could run those cars and make the finals.
The others who have commented are correct, if you don't believe you can win, then you've already lost. When I race the bearing classes, I not only expect to make the finals, I expect to win...and I'm ticked off when I don't!
Don't get discouraged. (Don't be afraid. You can make it through another day. Make it worth the price you pay)

Anyway, you'll get the wins. I really believe you will!
