Here is a cool event. organized by an Indiana scout for his Eagle Scout Project.
The event is going to happen again in 2018. I was able to meet the scout and his father that are continuing the event at the Indiana State Museum race a couple of weeks ago. My son donated his car to the cause and they are looking for more donations of cars and trophies.

I was sent an email by the scout and I have asked to share his email on a few league forums. If/when I have his consent I will add it to this post.

I would like to thank everyone who showed interest in my Eagle Scout Project while they were attending the Indiana State Museum PWD. If you donated a car that day thank you so much! If you provided your email in order to donate cars at a later time I will provide details on how to donate below. As a reminder my project is to host a pinewood derby for the patients at Riley Hospital for Children. For my project I need donations of pinewood derby cars. Any type of car is suitable for donation. They don't have to be fast or fancy, anything will do. I also plan to provide every child with a trophy so donations of old trophies would be greatly appreciated. To donate, send the cars and or trophies to:
