and Say hello to Mason-Dixon Pinewood Racing!
CWTRacing was only a temporary name anyway...
So I'm getting my bench setup so I can get the best performance possible this weekend.
I've got my scale out, and my lube, all my weights are ready, and my press is setup. It's important to have a good bench setup if you want to contend for Gold!
I bet my lead weights will be moving faster than your Tungsten ones will this weekend!
Has anyone tried using Crisco Vegetable Shortening as a lube?
One other question, I have this black powder, I was considering using it as a lube, but later realized that using it could create explosive starts! Literally!
I'm sure you plan to keep your cars going straight down the track this weekend, have you ever considered the gyroscopic stabilizing effects of rifling?
Beats the heck out of rotational kinetic energy issues any day!
And to be honest, I have a problem. A problem with Clay Birds. The are a menace and must be destroyed as fast as possible. I personally like to shoot them to kill them. Sometimes when they are laying on the ground, and I don't see any holes in them, I'll string them up on a frame and shoot at them again. You should see how destructive a .58 cal lead bullet is to these birds. But.... that's another story....
Enjoy your race this weekend, I won't have any cars in, but I'll be going for my 3rd Gold Medal in this weekends events at the North-South Skirmish Association Veterans Skirmish in Winchester, Virginia. May the luck of the draw be with me!
