I have been looking at all of the great pics of cars you guys have built and I am wondering how are you securing the weights in the bottoms of your cars and what are you doing to cover them up. I have seen several with weight pockets cut out and empty, but almost no pics of the bottoms of cars with weights installed and ready to race. Any pics you post would be great.

Just trying to figure out what the best thing to do is. Strongly considering building a car and sending it in to race. The bug is biting at me...

i used to epoxy the weights in, but then you almost have to break the car to get them out. now i use super glue and just put muffler tape i think its stainless over the pocket, in a few hours i will be posting pics of me adding the weight to my cars.

I use aluminum duct tape. It is very sticky and will not let your weights slide around. I also use no glue at all that way I can salvage my weights by just pulling off the tape.
