September 2016 Pinewood Derby Top 50 Racers!!!

The more you race and support the league the higher you will be in the top 50 of your competing.. People Can't race once everything 3-4 months and expect to be in the top 10. Everytime a racers misses 1-3 month he will fall behind 3-4 thousands behind if not more. I've always encouraged racers to run 2-3 classes, cause of prep and mastering what your prep is .. I took of the Second half after nationals last year and decided to race in Oct. I luckily made finals in BASX, finished like 15th in SS, and didn't make finals in SP. It's took 2-3 months of hard work and a lot of testing to get back in the groove. As you see now there's a lot of the top racers running a couple of cars in each class, I always do . I run a good car and a test car.

Well, there is the APR and PDDR.

I'm familiar with APR's practice of putting results on a closed section of the site, but perhaps they might furnish results if it were explained what the reasoning was.

Not sure about PDDR's policy.

The respective league owners are more than welcome to have their races results included. All I am saying is that i have been unable to view them therefore my hands are tied.

Vitamin K, I think the point is to poll from races that actually get a good base of National attendance. Out of curiosity, do you ever race or do you just like to stir up trouble?

That wasn't the stated point. In fact, if you scroll up in the thread, it says that the other leagues would be included if their results were available. So I am simply providing information in direct response to that.

I have sent cars into NPWDRL, and will likely do so in the future as time allows.

Hi everyone,
I got my car back yesterday from the October 1st race and to my surprise there was a wood car body also in it. Just wondering who I need to thank. It looks like it was cut out with a wood laser. (very precise). Where can I get a machine like that?
Thanks again,
Dustin King.

That looks like one of the laser cut bodies from NPWDRL sponsor Sweenks. They were raffled off as sponsor prizes after the races last Saturday. You must have been one of the lucky winners. Congrats!
