Hello all,
My name is Bill. I am new to this site and looking forward to participating in the discussions posted in the various forums. I've been designing and building derby timers for about three years now and have come to realize many scouting and Awana groups build their own tracks but just can't afford to buy a timer. As a retired electrical engineer wanting to give back to the community, I have developed an Arduino based timer design that is affordable and relatively easy to build. My designs and accompanying software can be downloaded for free at my web site www.BillvsDerbyTimers.weebly.com. All design solutions offered on this site include a schematic diagram, parts list, design notes, timer software, software installation instructions and operating instructions. Please have a look at my site and I look forward to answering any questions you may have.
Thanks.
