Just a reminder to everybody ALWAYS practice safety while in the shop. Yesterday I was sanding on a new pinewood derby car on a 6"x48" horizontal belt sander, something I have done numerous times. My fingers slipped off the car and under the back stop of the sander pinning them there until I could get it unplugged. Today as much as these fingers hurt I am very fortunate to still have them. PLEASE BE SAFE!!

Glad your OK! My belt sander scares me sometimes. Just one little slip and bye bye knuckles.
