Question is: How many of you are relatively new builders like me? It looks like quite a mix...

From my time on here, and reading a lot of older posts, it looks like over half of the BASX class are experienced builders. This is probably a good thing for this month's race...the newer guys will have a great comparison with these experienced guys where it is all about the basics like prep, alignment, weight dist, etc. What I am wondering, if the top guys will continue to run this class, I think a few said only this first time to inaugurate the new class. I also think John said its not worth much in point standing if that's what the goal is for some...

We had 4 cars run Sub-3, congratulations to you guys! Well done!

I enjoyed racing this class and will likely run it again. It was some close racing.

I agree with you gravity, this class is where you learn to be a good builder and once you get sub 3 in this class it will give you the ability to be competitive in most classes. I think it's a great challenge and I look forward to putting all the pieces together to get that sub 3

+1! Even though my BASX car finished last, I like this class. All similar bodies, wheels and axles! Your basic building and prep skills against the other racers skills!

So ... I am going to build a new BASX car with a longer wheels base and race it at Zeebzob's race on June 21st to see if I can improve on that last place finish!

I was under the impression that that was just a race between Meyer and Hogan. I could be wrong.

Wouldn't mind running the Eliminator, but not for whatever those two are running for.
