Hmmm. Probably best to use an acetylene torch at this point. Be sure to keep the prepped wheels on the car for this step.

My new BASX car called Bud. Yellow wheels are all prepped, axles are good to go, just need to put the wheels on it and run it down my tuning board.

Well fellas, here they are! Wheels and axles are polished and waiting for prep. Worked on the shipping container today. Lasermans builds have inspired me to mix up the species of wood used and a big thanks to Scott, Chris, Benji and John for all the help!!

Got the wheels installed and tuned. Was freaking out because it was turning the wrong way no matter what I did. Switched the back wheels and that fixed it. That still kind of concerns me that the alignment may still be off. I had it run against a meter stick and the back end doesn't ever touch but it does shift a little at the very beginning before riding straight. Staged it with the DFW against the rail. My first time with oil too. Man. You don't notice how much lint or pet hair is around till you start trying to get your work space clean to start treating the axles.

That is a great clown pic!!! Ya, I had problems with keeping my wheels clean. My stop section wasn't long enough so it had to run into a blanket. (Lint and dust was bad!!)
