I bought the bulk pack of MV wheels about 3 years ago. They are really good for spacers and spraying the car while the wheels are left installed. They are my scout team wheels, come race day I'll pull out the first string!

A little off-topic: How do the MV wheels do in terms of wheel concentricity and bore quality?

I would have to check, when I actually used these wheels to race it was for a scout race. I did not even know I needed to look in the bores, I used the D.W finger torcher lathe and I'm sure that thing made the bore look like a flash flood of acid had come through smurf vill. As far as round I doubt anything from a mold will be much better then BSA, but I'll go check right now, The one I just grabbed was .004 out between the lowest and highest points. P.S, I tried to use my Finger lathe as a pencil sharpener, it was an epic fail. I gotta find a use for this thing but I have yet to be successful. P.S, the wheel I measured was new it had not been D.W lathed.

Here's the latest Tom McEwen's "Mongoose" Street Rod with chassis help from D4D. Red tinted windows & I snuck the bug catcher in behind the windshield.

I had a real nice Prudhomme's "The Snake" Monza going until I hit it with the clear coat and the decals wrinkled up... I nearly threw the body in the trash can but I built this chassis myself and it took so long that I'll somehow strip the body and start again. Gotta find the decals though and that might not be easy.

Awesome Tony !!! I can't believe the attention to detail and overall look (once again making mine look like demo derby machines !).

Brings back memories too. I used to watch these guys (and many more) drag race when I was growing up.

Boss Bird after one of my favorite drag racers...Arnie Beswick. Slixx decals were meant to fit a 1970 Trans Am but I fudged them a bit to fit this late model Firebird.

I've got "Bad News" for ya...
These are generic decals that weren't made to fit this body but I adapted them to work.
