SR build day!

Interesting, my new car also has sides that may be difficult to mount.

Hmmmm.... My new car also has sides that make mounting challenging.

Be my guess that they're not all the same.

I've purchased many model kits and I think the ones that you'll have the best luck with are the Revell kits. They seem to have full bodies, whereas others have multiple piece bodies. I'm not sure on all the Revell kits but the ones I've seen are full bodied. What brand of model kits are you guys having trouble with?

I'm not having trouble per say, although both bumpers wrap around on the quarter panels somewhat. It's a revel.
peace

My new body is a revel. It was the easiest model body I have ever assembled. The body consisted of 5 pieces. Then of course the marker lights lenses and glass.

The body I chose has intake scoops on the sides, witch make mounting on the sides difficult at best. I may try Velcro, double sided tape, or just super glue the body onto some metal tape.

Because of the vents I had to use hot glue. Worked great.

Good call, I thought about closing up the vents. What did you do about the two exhaust holes in the back? Assuming we built the same model of course?

Wow, ultra-sleek top, that is awesome !! I am going to have to up the compression ratio in my american muscle !

It's a Jaguar XJ220. The model is made by AMT. It's glass from front to back. The problem with the car is it's wide. It's not any faster than my other yet. The problem is that I can't test it in traffic. My old SR runs great by itself but get some cars next to it and it acts like a parachute Time will tell!

I saw that dodge....is it the one with the spoiler on the back? the front is really sleak!

I think I found a good one as well....but like QTs one it is definitely wider....

One is the Corvette Indy "Dream Machine" by Revell....sleak

The other is the Corvette C5-R "Compuware" by Revell....

both are nice and aerodynamic....but like OPA, just gota find time to put it together...
