If you decide to run Street Rod and happen to get a warped body. Yep, mine came to me warped.
~Boil some water in a big pot.
~Turn it down once it starts to biol.
~Hold the part of the body that is warped in the boiling water for 7 seconds and remove it.
~If it's the whole body use tongs with a light touch.
~Quickly after removing it, straighten the body out by hand, very carefully.
~Tweak it just a little past where you want it to allow it to spring back.
~Don't be heavy handed.
~Don't leave it the water longer, the plastic gets soft quick and can shrink.
Voila! Your car should be ready to build
Disclaimer: You can completely turn the body into a twisted pile, or a wad of plastic if you're not very careful.
