Still have lots of work to do on them, axle and wheel prep then tuning.

Yes they are the ones posted as my avatar.

Thanks DD4H I do hope they do run good. Guess we will find out on the 29th.

Great looking cars PDH!

If you haven't raced before you could start in Novice for the next 3 races and then jump up to Amateur.

Of course you could always start in the Amateur and then move to the Pros.

Start where you feel comfortable and enjoy the racing.

Thanks to all

Well GravityX it's one of those conundrum's you want to push yourself but just how far, you know. I may start in the amateur class, but the mind keeps tell me to go big or go home.

If can't run with the big dog's stay on the porch. kinda crap....lol

Well thanks for the advice I have two weeks to make my mind up.

PDH -

Very Sweet looking rides you have there ... Can't wait to see these run ... Very Sharp looking fleet you have started...

Look at it this way, it's only three races. Make the move afterwards.

If you start in the Pro ranks you may end up discouraged, but as you said how hard do you want to push yourself. Check the water first, then dive in, it's only 3 races. This will give you a chance to make adjustments and tune in your car.

As I said Enjoy the Racing. Learn as much as you can no matter what class you choose to run in.

Start at the lowest and move up. It is nice to get a few wins before you get to the Pros, where you can get dusted pretty bad.
When I started, there was no SS separation. In SS, there were about 50 cars, and I finished next to last.
For the next few races, although I sneaked up in the ranks, it was mighty slow. What I really wanted was to know who had approximately the same experience as me, but it was very difficult to know.
The 3 groupings we now have is great. Wish they had had them 3 years ago.
As another goal, make sub-3 a goal. That's kind of a mark where you know you are getting good, but still have a ways to go.

Thanks Guys ya'll are more than right I need to take it slow, learn and move from there.

This place is great thanks for all the help.
