Well thanks to Wanderson racing I have the foundation of a awesome tuning board! Here are a few pictures. I will post more in the next few days as it gets completed.

I didn't make it so I am not for sure. I know the glass that is ordered is 22 3/4 X 72 so that's got to be the inside dimensions. The table is built with 1 inch slop. I am picking up wood today for the legs and they will be 36 inch in height.

What are your table dimentins?

The nice thing about the way it is now with no legs you can just lean it up against the wall when not in use, so it doesn't take up much room at all.

Looks Sweet. I wish I had room for one

Alright here's a update. I am hoping to have the glass tomorrow, so it should be done than. I am not a carpenter I know there is probably better ways of doing things but this is what I came up with.

That's awesome QT! Pretty smart idea incorporating the slope into the table so that you don't have legs with different lengths. Can you post a picture of what it looks like looking up under the table top? I'm curious how you're bracing the plywood platform. Are you going to add a shelf to the bottom?

Very nice, QT. Looking at it, I'm thinking that it would be a good thing to add a cover to it that would function as a worktop. Add a shelf (or two) to the bottom, and you've got a dedicated PWD work center.

Thanks guys. I like the shelf idea, I wasn't planing on anything but it would be supper easy. I guess it's back to Lowe's!

Making the slope into the table was very smart! why didn't I think of that? I use my tuning table for all of my clean work and assembly. I only build cars one direction so there is alot of room to store cars and parts in progress.

You might want to consult with an engineer?

That's awesome Joel. I really would like to make 1 of those someday. Thanks for sharing the progress with us bud.

Thanks man. The main reason I built it was for me Unlimited car. They are so hard for me to adjust the steer just right.

That looks really good! Thanks for sharing. I think my chances of finishing anywhere near you just vanished.

I purchased that same graphic a while ago and had a piece of glass cut for it. You have given me some good direction and motivation to get moving on a table. Thanks also to all who commented. Y'all have some great input.
