I just wanted to say THANK YOU to DNA,SE and their family for putting a wonderful event together yesterday!!! My son and I had a great time..(and he got in a power nap) and it was great to see some ol friends again and to finally put some faces with names and start new friendships with those racers!! I was blown away at how fast everyone has gotten!! When you only get to see what everyone is doing on a month to month basis here on the forum, it is especially impresssive to witness the speed in person!! Congrats to all who raced and to all who took home CFC Titles !!! With SOOO MANY FAST RACERS nowadays, a top 10 is almost like a win.. Goatboy's Unlimited cars were incredible to watch in person!! Ian, you are a FAST FAST MAN!! Again, thanks to the CFC Crew for a GREAT day of racing and fun, and it was Great to see everyone again as well as meeting & making new friends!! Take care,

Another Scouter Nat's, come and gone. What a fantastic weekend I had. I made the trip with one of my best buds, Zeebzob. The 8 hour drive felt like 2 hours with all the stories and laughing we were doing. I really appreciate that he made the trip with me. As for the race itself, I also would like to thank DNA and Sunshine for all the work they do to put this race on for us. I also think we should thank, Spirit Racing, Fired Up, Zeebzob, Stone Cold and DNA's older 2 boys(forgot their names). All of you helped set things up and get everything in "race ready" condition. PWD is a large family and everyone puts in help whenever needed. Thanks again everyone for making this a fantastic weekend for me. Love meeting new racers and catching up with old friends. Cya all in Utah!

Great racing weekend !!!! Thumbs up to DNA and Sunshine !!! Had a great time and agree with all the guys, you did a wonderful job handling any glitches that came up, with such a complicated event. First rate job my friends. And nice location for the race, it was great to not have to drive back and forth to the race site , JUST WALK DOWN THE HALL !!!! Was great to see GOAT BOY and FIRED UP again. And made my weekend to meet STONECOLD , D G 13 , ZEEBZOB , and SPACEWALKER . You guys mabe it lots of fun. And by the way DNA and SUNSHINE you have some great kids, they were lots of fun , you have done a good job bringing them up.. TAKE CARE....SPIRIT........

Great job DNA and Sunshine! I had a total blast this weekend. It was nice to meet all the racers. You guys impressed me not only with the great cars you had, but also with your willingness to share some tips with ol' Zeebzob.
Spirit, Stonecold, Spacewalker, Fired Up and DG, thanks for making me feel like one of the gang. Can't wait til the next time we can meet at a race.
The event itself was fantastic too. The facility was really nice, it was great to be able to stay right there. Sure there were a couple of glitches but overall, the dedication and effort were evident. I think it was a great success!
One of the most surreal things for me was to see all those cars up close and in person after seeing them in pictures and on the Internet for so long. I feel I have learned soooo much just by being there live.
A huge thank you to my buddy and National Champion Goatboy. I had so much fun, I can't even begin to tell you. There were a couple times I thought I was gonna pee myself from laughing so hard!

I am sorry that Mitchell and I missed it this year, but camping with his Boy Scout troop is his favorite thing to do. We had a great weekend at Barren River Lake. Hopefully, next year we can join you.

Thanks guys !!
I must say that even though i tend to get a bit bound up when things dont go perfectly having you all there made it all ok, we all saw some great racing and met new friends along with seeing our old ones. I haven't laffed so hard in years as i did from Goats fetal position crack, i am still giggling over it.
I just want everyone to know that while it is great to get the thanks, I need to thanks everyone who was there with me, ya'all made it worth it.
I expect that the CFC race will have many more live racers.

ya.......sunshine kinda forgot to hit the record button on that, she thought it was recording and while it was broadcast live there is no recording of it.

seriously, i am trying hard not to think about it.
here is a short version of it.

behind every great man there is a woman who made him that way.....thank you all the wives and sig. others who put up with us and allow us to be kids with our cars.
and every one gets a medal sent home in the return box.

i put a lot of heart into it and just a bit of humor. it went over well with the live crowd and almost made S.C. tear up. if while looking through the zillion vid files i took at the race i will post, but i am fairly positive it is lost.

My wife and I haven't had a vacation in about four years so we stopped by Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tenn. for a few days on the way back home to N.C. It was way too cool to meet Spirit racing (mr.magnifying glass),Goat Boy (the unlimited guru), Zeebzob (whose tuning track produces champions), Fired Up (insane paint man), as well as seeing all the other racers again! DNA and SE did a great job putting on the event as well as having some well behaved, helpful children. Really enjoyed the live racers and stiff competition from the proxy guys. Can't wait to do it again.
