Derby was tonight. We haven't done real well the last few times, but this year, we got serious. We ordered the Silver Bullet and paid close attention to the Oil Secrets DVD. We still ran graphite and everything stock, but we tried to use all of the tips.

He beat the number 2 car overall by .05 seconds.
Thanks everyone for this awesome site. Thanks John for the supplies we needed to come in first!
- Rear canted wheels? Check, thanks to the Silver Bullet. I set it up, the Cub actually drilled the axle holes.
- Bent DFW? Yep, although it was probably closer to 6 degrees.
- Lifted front wheel? Check
- Sanded back area with the DFW? Check.
- Weight pockets? Yep. Cub drilled them himself with a 1/4" forstner bit.
- Axle polished? Check. Used an older PineCar kit for the sandpaper, along with DD4H's Zero Friction polish. Again, Cub did this by himself, although I helped with the filing the flashings under the head.
- K-house groove cut? Check. Cub used a hacksaw and a bench vise.
- Wheel Bore polished? Check. Used #1 and #2, along with the no-scratch wheel bore applicators and the fluffy pipe cleaners.
- Tuned to 4" over 4'? Check. Didn't have a spare mirror handy, but discovered a piece of laminated wood flooring in the closet. Turned out to be exactly 4' long, smooth, and not very flexible. I admit to doing most of this, because of the aforementioned 6 degree DFW bend. The tiniest of turns would make a huge difference.
