This season has seen a lot of changes and it looks like there will be one final change to get through the year. On an off month we still had 37 Street Stock cars. THe bad thing is when you break them up into 3 groups then you get 9 car divisions and that is not good. We will continue to race the Amateur class seperate but the Pro class and Elite class will combine. There will still be an Elite badge you can carry but the 2 groups will race as one. The other new qualification to get your pro badge is not only must you outperform 3 pro racers (their fastest entries) but you must also finish in the top 3. THe PRO ranking is an extremely high level to reach. There has never been this kind of talent at this quantity ever in pinewood derby.
