I would like to congratulate Greg Dawes (Mid-America PineWood derby founder). Greg is the latest recipient of the country’s most prestigious and longest standing public service awards.

Kudos Greg, congrats! Keep up the good work. Proud of you my friend. Your contributions to growing PWD racing amongst scouts are amazing! Thanks for giving us a venue to come together, celebrate, compete and enjoy the world of PWD racing at the scout and Pro level!

If you know someone who is doing good in their community nominate them for the Jefferson Awards.

Each month FOX 42 will honor one person that is positively impacting their community and next year one of our winners will win a trip to Washington D.C.

Wow. There is no better way to be recognized. Elected officials are soliciting for public vote, and while impressive than one can earn the public trust and be selected to office, its truly outstanding how someone does for the community because that is the type of person he or she is, without the intent or personal gain, and then gets recognized for it.
