The National Championships are set!!!

Unless you have been moved out of the Novice ranks officially, then I'd say you can run any class including Novice. But if you have been moved to the Amateur class, then you can't moved backwards in classes to race. Once moved up a class there is no going back to a lower SS class.

Hey John

I read the information on the site....question, is the 63 foot track to be used for all races and classes or is it an extra race and the usual classes will run on the standard 42 foot track we are racing on now....

Just curious! That's a long extra 21 feet! LOL...

Update....just read the faq LOL looks like its 63' for all the races!

OK any tips from those that have race long tracks? My impression is that for the most part the build and setup is the same as if we are running 42 feet.

Is the points/standings going to determine what round your car enters into the championship race (i.e. top X cars will start racing that day in the finals) ? Don't think I ever saw this spelled out anywhere. It won't change anything I am doing but I am just curious.

Dang the luck wanted to come live to that race, no can do...................will send in via proxy again. dang it.
ok

Went to the FAQ , i am assuming you are adding three sections to the end of the track ? Not one to the incline and two to the end.

Technically it would be before the end of the track, in front of the timer. But yes, the hill section on a 63' track is the same as the 42 footer, you just have a longer flat section.
Normally we say the last 7 feet is the monster, but for the nationals, the last 28 feet is the monster!

This race is going to be so AWESOME!!!!!!!! I might be able to test on 49ft but I don't think that will even fit down the hall. Should keep things very interesting!!
