The Wax's Role???

Now to find Liquid Glass around here ..... Might be tuff Walmart does not carry it anymore... Auto Zone, Orielly's Nappa all do not carry it as well ...

Anyone test other auto wax? I can't find liquid glass. Plenty assortments of Mothers, Macguiers, and Turtle at the local stores.

Our next build we want to follow the whole wheel prep process from DD4H. For now though for my scouts districts we're just hoping to pick up a little more speed getting by on a budget.

Do you have an O'Reily auto parts? I know they should have it or can get it...and walmart carries the Meguiars synthetic. I have been told not to use anything with carnuba in it...

I would disagree. Just saying.

So for graphite users and the Red Rocket step is it applied like waxing a car? Wax on wax off; coat the bore and hub, let dry, and wipe clean with pipe cleaner? Or do you leave the visible dry layer to grind the graphite into. I have kind of seen it described subtly both ways but can't tell if I am just reading into too much.

I personally have not burnished with the wax still in the bore. I've heard of some people doing it, but I have not. After I cleaned the wax out I then burnished and the car was quite fast.
