The obvious answer is purple, but I am going to say violet.
Isn't it the same color? /images/boards/smilies/tongue.gif

To you and I and most other guys, yes it would appear to be the same color.

Now! Ask the wives and they'll tell you a whole different story. Try it and find out. /images/boards/smilies/rofl.gif

That's the truth! /images/boards/smilies/rofl.gif

It appears that Skerples come in many colors — including a couple shades of purple:

I bet it has to with the fact that nearly 10 percent of all men are color "blind".
The ratio is probably much higher amongst men with exceptionally high spatial relations skills.
Kind of like the blind that have an over compensated sense if hearing.

I'm one of the 10%. I thought all of Kinser's cars were black. In fact when I watch the races, all I see are light cars and dark cars some with stripes. Ten years ago, we had a cousins reunion on my mothers side of the family. 52 cousins showed up. They asked the question of how many were color blind. Answer: All 52.

Hi Opa,

I am also in that 10% group.

It is a real scare when driving in unfamiliar territory at night and a yellow traffic light pops up out of nowhere right in front of you (because the green light blends in with the white street lights)

It is good for filtering out a lot of noise though so that one could focus on line, form, and texture though.

I used to have and FIA and SCCA license. No one knew I was color blind. But on many courses, they only had red and yellow lights. Others all 3 colors. But I could never tell the difference between any of them, because they were all so bright they looked the same. I could pretty much handle the vertical lights where green was always on the bottom. But on the horizontal, I didn't know which side was green, or on two light systems which color was on which side. So on each track, I would take a mechanic along with me during slow practice runs, presumably to check for a hidden noise, he would drive, and I would sit on a box in the passenger side and take notes. I had a code I developed which I pasted on tape on the dash, plus I attempted to memorize everything. Only had a problem one time, got DQ'd when I thought red was yellow.

LOL!!!!!

Oh man! I can tell you a few stories myself!

You had a license for F1?!

The thing is,

For some reason I am not fond of red heads,
but I don't find out until it is too late!

Maybe I need a mechanic as a wingman.
