To fender or not to fender...

Is that the raw fender or after is is coated with CA? ....I have been thinking about trying some fenders at some point, but have been hesitant. I am concerned about the weight it will add to the DFW?????
the fenders I weighed had not been installed yet so I'm certain it was before ca glue. It was also before they had been completely shaped

For the most part I think most do CA. If not it would just be something similar. Be ready for the smell though... using that much CA at once will tweak out your sinuses.
I just goop it on and spread with paper towel. I’m sure there’s a better way. Bulldog uses a type of brush that I couldn’t find. Most brushes the CA messes up the bristles immediately. I do small localized areas at a time to give myself time to get it thoroughly spread. CA does soak into balsa fast.
Hope that helps.

I use a liquid ca glue for my fenders

I have seen spacewalkers video.....he just uses his finger to rub it in.....says it helps it to start to cure faster. ....I believe he uses the super thin CA in multiple layers. But DO NOT USE near your axle holes.
They also have a ca with a brush tip now.... believe that is a gorilla glue

I've used my finger and a brush. I get less bumps when I use my finger.
So does it just harden up on your finger and just let it wear off?
When I use paper towel I am spreading it with my fingers and the towel is folded like 4 times. Goes on pretty smooth. But I am also using thin CA. The thinner CA tends to soak into the balsa a little fast though.
Brian are you using thin, medium or thick CA?
