Too gap or not to gap

Racing with the graphite :( what gap is preferred on the DFW?
I have been keeping it loose at .030 upfront & .020 in the rear.
Wondering if that is too loose, especially with a bent 5 degree self grooved BSA nail and full GEE fenders.
We had to gap that set of fenders to clear all wheel movements on that axle.

If we ran a tighter gap, we could possible move the fenders closer to that wheel I was thinking.

And have a better consistent start every time without the DFW being placed differently at the starting line.

Thanks for the catch, I forgot to add the zeros:(, all fixed now.
Ok, no problem, you really threw me off with those measurements.

I haven't measured my gaps, but I keep them small, I'd say the largest gap I'd run is about the same as the thickness of a credit card, but usually I'm much tighter than that...

Good looking car by the way!

Thanks, my two boys do a lot of the work on the cars, I just try to figure out the easiest way for them to do it.
A BIG thanks to the quality video showing how to apply the fenders from DerbyDad!
