Track Length

I remember a thread telling the actual lengths of Best Track tracks but I can't seem to find it. I preparation for my expected package I was wondering how much room was need for a 42' track, I am pretty sure I will have to run it as a 35' but a measurement would be great. Thanks!

Measuring my drawing a 42 ft. BestTrack is a little under 41 ft. total length from end of start to end of stop section (with one stop section). A 35 ft. BestTrack would be 7 ft. less.

When you have your track set up, time your car, then send it in to DD4H, preferably one of the races. When the car returns to you, time it again ou your track. Compute the ratio, and you have a benchmark for future races.

Yeah I'm hoping it gets here in time to make a few runs before I have to stick em in the mail fornthis months race.
