I have a single line track. I was wanting to do some work on it to make it better... I thought about wet sanding my track. I have done my joints already. J was then gonna polish it with mother billet. Then add pledge. I would love any suggestions what some of you guys have do e to your track or what John has done to the league track ??
Thanks JBD racing

I used Eagle One Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish first and then Mothers Billet (procedure courtesy of CGS).... I just have to blow off the dust to use the track and it looks just as good as the day I polished it... The Eagle One is really good stuff, but it will take some time and muscle to get it all polished.

You can find it at auto parts stores...

On my test track I just made sure the joints were perfect and rail all the way down. Clean with pledge and a rag works great!!

I just polished my 42 foot 4 lane best track yesterday. It wasn't to bad. It took me 4 hours. I used a bottle of polish called Dry Wash. worked well. I didn't go for the mirror finish, just brighten it up some. I prefer dry wash over any other polish Ive ever used. I truly don't like the wadding polishes. As far as mothers, wenol, never dull, and so on. I believe the dry wash is superior. Thats just my opinion

Anyone try Dri Wash since this post several years ago?

I tried Mothers and Eagle on one of my stop sections and I already know I don't want to try to get that stuff off my entire track.

Wondering if the Dri Wash is any easier to apply & remove. If not, will just keep track as is.

I did a three step deal and it worked well. Here are the products in order.

California Custom Aluminum Deoxidizer 12 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005Q94AO2?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

California Custom Purple Metal Polish 12 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004MNKM9A?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Wizards 11021 Power Seal Metal Sealant - 8 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005ZHD640/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0Ck2AbY2B6P4M

Thanks, Steve. This stuff easy to get back off? I don't want to fight a residue.

The deoxidizer you simply wipe on. The Purple polish turns black as you polish. its the most difficult but I found you don't need to remove all of it. Step 3 is the sealer... it removes the residue from the Purple polish and leaves a sealant.

My track is easier to wipe and keep clean than ever. Buy a box of gloves and a bag of rags.
