We have a 42 foot Best Track with the lift kit. Can anyone suggest ways to stabilize the track as it is kind of wobbly especially the hill section.

That does look wobbly. I liked DD4H use of what looks like storage tubs .
Add some weight to the bottom side of the track?
Can the legs be more spread out?

Make sure all bolts tight of course. Then I would use weighted bags with sand or similar to stabilize the legs. Similar to what filmmakers use to stabilize their camera tripods, light stands etc.

Honestly I really don't like the lift kit, especially for Scout races where the tracks not sufficiently maintained, or assembled particularly well. Our Council uses this and I have watched too many cars fly off the stop section and drop the 18" or so to the concrete floor. It's not pretty.

I mounted 2*6" into my concrete then permanently mounted to those for my single lane BT. If you can't do that....low weight bags or a weighted tie down strap

I've never had any cars fly off the stop section. We keep it clean and replace the rubber every 3rd year. We wanted the lift kit to keep scouts from trying to step over the track...to that end it has worked well.

I hear you on keeping the Scouts from stepping over. That can be a problem for sure. Wish we had you running things in our council. I've reached out to volunteer so I can be part of the solution, but haven't heard back. I suspect I'm not part of the "in" crowd.

Maybe you're a threat to the "in" crowd!!

I was a threat to the In crowed. They had me removed from running district races anymore. Only sad note is that now they are forced in using a old 32 foot wood track with manual gate and no computer interface.
