We had our trial runs and are hitting 3.14 , 3.153, 3.159 and a rogue 3.18 (not sure why that was so bad) Not sure how to tweek things. My Com is about 5/8. Seems to be rail riding.
Please take my opinion with a grain of salt but one thing you might consider doing is twisting your rear axles. Although it might be an illusion, both rear wheels appear to be toe in. If there is a small bend in the axle you would probably see gains by twisting it so the bend is directly up.
One run had some early wiggle. My pack only has 2 real competitors. That being said its a bit awkward around the kids to keep testing the car especially when were smoking them. The race is Sunday. Can you explain how to “tune” some steer? It looks like your rear wheels are toed in. Did it have any wiggles? Maybe you can tune some steer out of it if it didn't.
Every axle out of the kit has a small bend. Have you tried twisting them?My rear axels are canted by slanting the them in the slot but we are not allowed to bend the axels.
Ok so I’m confused... what is toe in? And where do I have it?Maybe the paint behind the axle slot has built up more than you realize causing some of the toe in condition ?

I think it might be some distortion from the camera, it looks like the rears are toe in, where the fronts are toe out.I think it might be some distortion from the camera, it looks like the rears are toe in, where the fronts are toe out.
Right front, but remember, I can’t bend axels and have to have 4 wheels touching. It works because my axel was a bit “bent” out of the boxAlso, which front wheel are you using for steering? It appears there is room for improvement there as well. Maybe a lot depending on which wheel is steering.
Because friction is the enemy. Toe in or toe out on rear wheels creates extra friction making the car less efficient and slowing it down. You are trying to minimize friction and maximize efficiency.Ok gotcha... how does that affect the car and/or speed?
