Got the order in from Trophy Depot, I'm running the district race on June 6th.

Finally beat Greg Dawes in our race for first and all I got was a certificate. I volunteered to buy the trophies for adults at our district race next year. I'll make the first place trophy 4 foot tall. LOL

Yes we award all rank levels 1-3 open division 1-3 and overall top 5

No overalls at our districts.

I Thought top 12 overall, but I only count 11. Maybe it was best 10 overall and a turtle award (that would be one big turtle award). 2 for best in show. Metals 1-3 for each rank. The metals this year did not have anything written on them/images/boards/smilies/frown.gif.

Our district had 31 entries. They awarded 1-3 grand champs and 1 design. No rank awards. If it was a bigger event they would probably add rank awards.

The pack rank winners are invited to race in the qualified scout grand championship. Earlier in the day there is an open scout run off for non-pack winners where the winner is invited to the qualified scout race.

Well, be glad you at least had a district race. We never did, just a low turnout, very poorly advertised and run Council race every other year that required your Pack to have a full time booth at their activity. They didn't even have car carriers to transport the cars back and forth and dropped a couple during the race !!

what does everyone else do?

Top three in every rank division, and then top three overall.

Also various aesthetics awards.

Oh, and there's a district cup that gets award to the Pack that has the lowest average time across all divisions. (The cup just gets their name engraved...they don't get to keep it)
