My “Trunk Sloth” eliminator car is going to make another appearance at the Man of The Mountain series. Thanks to John I have some reworked DW wheels and a good bent front axle that fits the wheel. Now I just need to prep the axles and wheels, set the steer and race it.
I know the car will never be as fast as cars built by Quick Time, Kinser, or JBD, but my goal is to try and make the top 15 builders for the Man of The Mountain championship race.
Eliminator has become my favorite class. A block of wood, nothing glued to the side, front or rear of the body, some axles, 3 razor wheels and a guide pin and weights inside the line of the body. The cars are fast, look cool. and you get to race on razor wheels, and still get to do all of the prep work. It’s all about racing, and having fun.
