Couple of things- I believe it was Rocket car that came up with the idea for the tuning board start rail not me, I just pilfered it! But I have posted several time on how much I enjoy using it!

Also, I believe Lightninboy came up with the speed square tool for checking alignment. I pilfered that tool also! My tuning board has a high sidewall on it so I use the speed square on the inside, I milled off the bottom lip of the square on mine so it would lay flat on the table. I added felt pads so it slides smoothly and won't scratch the glass.

What size pin gauge do you use for your slow roll test? .089"? Are people getting them from McMaster- Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#pin-gauges/=y2bzp2?
