tuning the wiggles out of the car

I don't know if this will solve your problem completely but clean those wheels! You don't want any graphite on the rears they need to be clean, clean, clean. Keep them clean. I bet that's most of the problem, you get a little wobble and they go crazy because you're fish tailing down the track. Try that and tell us what you get. You will even pickup time from clean wheels. /images/boards/smilies/thumb.gif

no problem Kinser, I did clean all the wheels with alky before the last race. this is just what was picked up from a dirty track. I think I am stuck with the set up I have, I am afraid I will damage the car if I try to do much.

Is there any chance that your two rear wheels are not mold matched? If you have a larger bore on one side, it would let the wheel stand straight up like that. Same thing might happen if it's bore got overpolished. I'm assuming that you're running a near flat cant for a scout race?

It's possible you polished the axles or wheel bore too much and might have thin'd one or the other. Seems like a lot of steer to me. I'm running 5" at 48". if your rears are cant'd and running on the edge of the wheel, wheels out towards head of the axle then you shouldnt have the wiggle you're talking about.
