Ultrasonic Cleaners

Has anyone tried one of these for cleaning wheels, axles? Would it be too rough on 1g wheels?

I know the ultrasonic cleaners work very well on metal/jewelry for sure...Not so sure on plastic or how harsh is the cleaning solution???

I read the online product manual and it says lukewarm water for the cleaning solution.

They work great! It also works great to clean bearings.
