How would you guys build a car to these rules.

RACING SPECIFICATIONS

WIDTH: Overall width shall not exceed 2¾ inches.

LENGTH: Overall length shall not exceed 7 inches.

WEIGHT: Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces. No loose material of any kind is permitted in or on the car. The car may be hollowed out and built up to the maximum weight by the addition of wood or metal only, provided it is securely built into the body or chassis.

SPRINGING: The car shall not ride on any type springs.

DETAILS: Details such as steering wheel, decals, painting or interior detail are permissible as long as the details do not cause the car to exceed maximum weight.

ATTACHMENTS: The car must be free-wheeling with no starting devices.

WHEELS: Only those wheels that come with the car kit may be used. The only sanding, grinding, lathing, or any other reduction method allowed to wheels is to be done for the sole purpose of removing casting marks. Any other reduction to any wheel or part thereof will cause disqualification. Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.

Yeah pretty good rules we just have different wheels that are heavy like 3.5 grams each. We would be a lot better if we could use lighter wheels like the cheetahs that derby dad sells.

Well, you have your choice of lubes. Do those wheels use the nail or screw type axle?

Nail type. I have a set of Dynasty 92X Pro Axles ordered from Derby Dad and the axel polishing kit and the wheel bore kit and his graphite.
