UPDATED Man of the Mountain 2014 Schedule Qualification Details!

After further discussion with the crew I have amended the qualification for the Championship race! Here is the details...

The schedule has been modified to go to a 2 day event in September. Friday night the Street Pro, Eliminator, Unlimited, an Street Rod Classes will be held. Saturday will be BASX and Street Stock. We also had to move the October race up one week.
Schedule:
August 30th
September 26th and 27th (MAKE SURE CARS ARE MAILED IN TIME FOR FRIDAY!!!)
October 18th
November 22nd- CHAMPIONSHIP RACE!

The format will be the top 15 builders automatically qualify for the race. A 16th qualifier will be added and determined by a "race in" round. To qualify for the "race in" round you will have to have competed in at least one of the 3 qualifying races for that class. The winner of the race in round will only advance his/her fastest car. There will be a semi final round consisting of racers 5 to 16. The top 4 in the semi final round move on to a finals round against the top 4 builders. The top 4 builders in the finals will move to the Championship round where the Man of the Mountain will be determined.

Each builder can enter as many cars as he wishes in each class that he competes in.

The scoring for each race is:
1st- 50
2nd- 45
3rd- 40
4th- 38
5- 36
6- 34
7- 32
8- 30
9- 28
10- 26
11- 24
12- 22
13- 20
14- 18
15- 16
16- 14
17- 12
18- 10
19- 9.5
20- 9
21- 8.5
22- 8
23- 7.5
24- 7
25- 6.5
26- 6
27- 5.5
28 and higher- 5

So the 16th slot race in round will happen at the November race? Also the top 4 builders after the 3rd round will only race in the finals round in November?

So each of the top builders in the November race will be running only one car?

John said that each builder can enter as many cars as he wishes. But only one car will fill the 16th spot.

Are points only counted for your fastest car each round? So if this month a builder has the 5th and 9th fastest car they get the points for only their 5th place car?

Once the top 15 builders are determined after the 3rd event they all can enter as many cars as they want in the final championship event? Then the run off for the 16th spot gets 1 car?

..... The 16th is allowed as many cars he wants In what class he qualifies! John just added a extra spot!! Instead of 15 there now will be 16... But - 16-25 have to race for the spot in each class now.. So lets say I don't make the top 15 in SS...and have to race in and u get the 16th spot... If I wanna enter 10 cars for the final race in SS I can

"The winner of the race in round will only advance his or her fastest car."

Please don't take my previous post as a complaint. I was just making sure I was interpreting correctly.
I like the idea of a consolation race to earn your way into the championship race. Sure beats having all those that didn't make it having to sit out of the last event.

In the race for the 16th spot you can race as many as you want. However only the winning car advances into the final rounds. If the winner of the 16th spot races 5 cars in the qualifying race only his fastest car advances.

That would be one crazy feat if the 16th guy made it to the final 4 championship round. 16 heats total.

I haven't seen any mention or discussion of the Snail Wars or the Governor Classes for the MOM races Dec 5, 6. Are these class races still going to be held? Since they haven't been run at all previously it looks like they will be open to anyone - no previous qualifications required?
