Use the Left-Turn Signal or Right?

Running three wheels with the driver's side raised.

I've steered it to the left in the past, but I was thinking maybe I'm better off steering to the right and let the non-rotating wheel "bump" into the guide (wooden track if that matters).

I wonder if a rotating tire causes less friction (slowness in general) or if the non rotating tire is better to rub against it because it can move with the rail as needed???

If I use the raised wheel, then I have to consider it's alignment and angle etc... also???

Only do that for simple way to test process on the rubbing edge of that wheel if you have a timer. After testing, put the drift back the other way. The best you can do is to get the speed of a 4 on the floor, and that will be slower than a 3 wheeler. The perfect 4 on the floor even with a slightly raised wheel and drift to let it roll on the edge of the rail still has the energy loss of getting all 4 wheels spinning.
