As much as I hate to go shopping, some good PWD stuff can be found at your local Good-Will store. I found this 36 watt, professional UV nail lamp. It has a built in 120 second optional timer switch, and the lamp has a mirrored base for even light distribution. It was missing 1 of the 4 bulbs.

So for under $10 I now have a UV lamp to cure the polishes on my wheels.

Is anyone using a UV Lamp to cure the polish on your wheels?
What is the general procedure for curing polish on wheels using a UV lamp?

Why not just use a 60w black light in a desk lamp? Would that achieve the same result?

Hmm. My understanding is that UV output for a curing device (like you'd use for nails, or the dentist uses for your fillings) is a lot higher than that of a recreational blacklight. Don't have any hard numbers, though.
