Vintage Speed Wheels?

Newb here with first post.

I just recently purchased a vintage Pinewood derby car (1989) that was built by Hodges Hobby House out of California. It has the "V" shaped speed wheels. One of them has a busted hub so i only have three good wheels. I purchased another original unopened vintage Pinewood derby kit just for the wheels hoping that there is someone out there that can make a replacement wheel to match the existing wheels? I'd also be interested in purchasing the "V" shaped vintage style 1980's wheel if anyone has an extra.

I'm currently refreshing the car and I hope to race this in the open unlimited class at my son's pinewood derby race.

Any assitance anyone can lend will bbe appreciated.

Here is the wheels and car. The "V" tread is off center a lil bit (closer to the body of the car). If it can't be matched up to the ones you have, I'd be interested in buying a complete set off ya?

I have a bag full of those old style wheels. I use to work for the BSA supply division and I ended up with a bunch of cars and parts when I left. They are all stock and never used. Same as I used on my car when a cub in the late 70's. I would be happy to send some to you. Are they any good for anyting else than a retro car?

Are they like the ones I have with the thin raised V on the tread to reduce the tread surface contact with the track?

I would suspect that someone took stock wheels and turned them on a lathe to get the V tread you speak of.

From OPA. Use these, mine are real old, similar to todays RA wheels.

Is there anyone out there that does this type of Lathe work on vintage wheels? I'd be able to supply a set or original unmolested vintage wheels and a usable example of the existising wheel I'm looking to have reproduced (and some $ for thier time). I'd just need someone with the know how and time to do it.
