O.K boys, I will start by saying I have much love in my full heart tonight! I have an amazing woman who is the mother of my children. We came to the hospital this morning at 7am and Kathryn delivered at 12:35, she earned a sub 6.0 hour trophy! I love her so much. My little boys came to see their new little bro, all holding him so good. I told them Baby is more delicate then a PWD car, LOL! I am very excited to share this with you guys here, you are my friends and I consider some of you close friends and feel a brotherhood among you. This has been such a bright spot in my life and I am pleased to share the first pics of my son with you boys, my friends. Mama is doing very well, baby is doing just perfect. This was a very hard decision for us to make as we have had rough times in our past with babies. I thank My Father in Heaven for his hand in keeping our new son safe and healthy. With a full heart I tell you boys that this is what it's all about, don't sweat the small stuff. If there is a way you can make something right then do it! Life is good and now I just ensured myself 4 more Pine Wood Derbys. I introduce my Son Zachary Hammer John Quist. Yes, I did name him hammer. Love you guys, see you on the track in 5 days!

Whats up Quaddad! Look out 5 kids I'm coming for you!

Congrats Bulldog - I am very happy for you and your family.

That is one lucky little girl - with all of those big brothers to help look after her.

Bulldog - so happy for you and your lovely family! Congrats to you and your amazing wife. Wishing you guys the best of times! Big hug and kiss to your new kid and a lifetime of joy and wonderful memories!

A big congrats BD, very glad all went well. He'll get to see his first PWD race Sat. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Your wife certainly gets the credit for that build. She let you get Hammer into his name? Where did you find a gal like her? Congratulations. You owe everyone on the board a cigar.

It's a boy Zig, LOL!!!

Serious opps on that one /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif - read you wife's name in the post and thought that was the childs name. Clearly I needed to be in bed asleep versus reading the board at 1am.

Congrats again!

Congrats Bulldog!!!!! there is nothing like children. I love large families, my dad is the youngest of 17 (yes, my grandmother had 17 kids, and she lived to be 95) but my wife said "OH He$$ no!!" hahaha

BUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLDOG!!! Congrats to you and your family! Take care of Momma. You guy are truly blessed, as are we to have you as a friend and competitor.

Congratulations!

Plenty of research suggests the name chosen for a child impacts his/her life well into adulthood. Just curious what behavioral eccentricities may be seen from someone named "Hammer." <j/K of course>
