came up short against a Pro car. Nothing to be disappointed about. I tuned my car and test track showed faster times but results were different. Wonder if my axle holes are too loose now.

I've got cars that I've pulled axles on 10+ times with no problems.
 
Might as well run with the big boys. I think its all the same. There is no different in the classes for sure.
 
Your probably right Speed Bump but the Novice class gives us a starting point. I don't know if letting pro built cars run Novice is what would qualify as a true novice. I guess my end goal is to be able to compete with the Pros. I'll have to run against the 2.97's eventually. Just a step closer now.
 
Good for him! I don't know him and have kept out of this one, can't fault a guy with a good teacher.
