Today was big day for me, I finally proved to myself that I can make a fast car. Now I just need to harness what I think I know and move forward. "Resodrive" is an inspired by Kinser car. I was able to do some additional tuning before this months race. Its amazing after 4 years I'm finally getting the handle on some of this stuff. I have a few ideas for my next build. Its good to know that my prep process can get some solid times. I believe part of my issue all along has been the fine tuning of the setup of the car. I spent 2 years chasing my tail thinking it was the prep when I should have been focusing on some other important aspects of the car. I have received so much help over the past 4 years, here is a list of some of the highlights:

W Racing and Acme - My original Sub 3 brothers my freshman year

DD4H - For fantastic products and helpful hints that he gives you and you don't know it until you are sitting at your bench and the light goes off. Also I consider him a good friend even though I don't always get a chance to chat with him often enough.

Kinser - for a very inspiring email last season when I was thinking about hanging it up.

Quicktime and Chips - They have given me some support this season that has really helped me out.

MWDracing - He is not always on the track but I consider him one of the most giving guys in pwdracing.

Spirit Racing - I don't know what to say brother, I feed of your spirit....LOL. You were just truly inspiring as a team mate last season.

Derbyfreak/DNA- I miss these guys soooo much.

Anyway this is suppose to be a welcome back Kinser thread, but the above stuff is what the NPWDRL is all about. Don't be afraid to get know your fellow racers. Help a brother out will ya!

Thanks for mentioning me in your post.

However, I am just giving back a small portion of what has been given to me.
Pinewood derby racers are a great group, and I have been given more than I could ever repay.
A huge thank you to all of you that have helped me learn about these little cars.
My son and I have had a great time working on them together.
