I have tweaked on one car for August. Any others I send in will just go as they returned from nationals. Could not make up my mind on what I wanted to do or how much budget I was going to allow. Was thinking about going live, but to busy with work. So the budget for going live is now getting put into R&D.
For September though I have ordered some parts to hopefully run the street pro class.
My remaining racing for 2013 will be mostly testing.
Hopefully for 2014 I will be able to climb out of the bottom half of the results. I am going to build some Street Stock cars as a control group to test with in September. I am working on some other ideas and products to see if I can stumble upon some magic. Otherwise my cars are just field fillers
for the most part. Can't keep doing the same things and expect any big changes.
But I am having a good time and learning a lot. Raceday is a good day,
Well just got a rebuilt irrigation engine out of my shop. (Chev 454 run on natural gas) then there was getting ready for the county fair. 1 Steer, 2 lambs, 3 rabbits and 4 chickens. don't forget baseball and softball. now trying to get harvest equipment out of storage and into the shop. Oh, my derby shop? well all packed away until the snow flies or at least until after harvest. A lot different than what I had planned and told different people I was going to do with derby. (Run a full fleet all fall).
I'm glad some of you have had time derby. Have some fun for me please
