Ive been researching any available lubes and looking mostly at liquids.
Krytox 100 seems to be the lightest with a pour point of -94F.

I did find old info indicating a Krytox 50 was once available but no more.

I’ve found the halocarbon 1.8 to be heavier than silicone bath lubes but still has a pour point of -148F.

Seems it’s only available, from what I can find, for a minimum order of $500.00. It looks compatible with the plastic wheels too.

Any chemist out there know anything about this stuff?

Why are you using pour point as the comparison? Wouldn't viscosity be more important? Moreover, halocarbon 0.8 has a viscosity of 0.8 cSt and krytox 100 has 5.5 cSt (both @40c). Based on that, halocarbon might be a promising lubricant.
Or am I missing somthing?

I was using pour point as it seemed a consistent gauge because in most cases it was reflected proportionately with viscosity. The Krytox 100 didn’t have viscosity listed on my source but it had all of the pour points so I used that as gauge to compare different oils

Do you 500 bucks to throw away? Only way to find out is buy it and test
Bulk buy anybody? I tried to get a couple places to just throw me a bone and collect a little runoff in their bottle cap but no go

I can’t link it from my ph I guess but Clearco PF-1.5cst looks good compared to Krytox 100.
The company has other lubes with full specs. IIRC they have a minimum of 1 gallon order

And this is why we must charge for the products we sell. You have no idea how much money has been wasted.

The R&D can be very expensive and time consuming. Then some jack wagon comes along and reverse engineers the product. This happens quite often in my profession. I prefer to support the people who make their living by supporting this hobby.
