I've been just getting by for a while for my Wheels and Axles with a junk tray . So I thought I'd finally make something. Seems to work pretty good. I opened up the bottom so that the wheels can dry in my Dryer. Spade bit was 1 and 1/4". It was drilled at a slant so you can lift the wheel out but deep enough if you bump it they won't fall out. (I'll paint it next)

Too cool!!
Kinda reminds me of a V8 block sitting there haha
Great idea and it looks good/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Cool design!
Mind if I ask what your dryer looks like?
Thanks

Joe, whatever happened to your tray idea?
Hi Paul,
After a dozen redesigns I finally settled on a tray I liked.
I cut out enough parts to make about 10 of them but only assembled 2 that I sent to Stephen.
The rest of the parts are sitting in a bag on a shelf.
Sorry,
I meant to get one out to you Paul.
New projects just keep getting in the way.

Thanks Ice,
So you put the waxed wheels in there to keep air flowing over them while protecting them from dust?
That dryer looks like it might double as a wind tunnel!

Thanks,
Joe

Hey Laser, do you still have 8? If you set a price I could use 2 or 3. We have 6 scout cars and 4 other cars to build. Keeping everything straight gets crazy at times.

Thanks
Tom

D4D has the greatest idea for a dryer.
I hope that he produces them in numbers so that I can buy one off if him.
