Wheel Bore Polishing

Just got DD4H wheel bore polishing kit. Instructions call for cleaning the wheels with "91% alcohol". Would that be denatured alcohol, rubbing alcohol, moonshine?

notsure, but i use the industrial stuff from work its 100% but i got a feeling the shine would do just fine as long as it wasnt cut.

It is Isopropyl rubbing alcohol.

Isopropyl rubbing alcohol I currenty have is 70%. Guess I need to look for something stronger.

Most pharmacies have the 91%.

If moonshine is used polish then sip.

Here in the Georgia backwoods the moonshine is the most readily available and easy to find and probably closer to 95%. It will burn a pretty blue flame just like denatured alcohol. Might be better than daddio"s spit for polishing.
