It should still ride inside the FDW. You just need to double check it is not rubbing. The shields I sell are made by HurriCrane and are the exact ones him and JBD run. The best ones out there. http://www.derbydad4hire.com/HurriCrane-Air-Shields-Crane.htmOk, i have never used these and dont know much about them. I've gathered you fasten them to the body and they ride inside the wheels? If this is right, how does this work with the fdw?
I mount them straight on. HurriCrane can you chime in here?So you have to mount it sort of cocked, or try to make it fit?
I might be wrong but I think they need modified for box stock. Pretty sure you are not permitted to have anything between the wheel and the bodyI have no experience with them but i thought i read somewhere if you are gonna run box stock you are gonna need to use these.
Yes, I'm sure you need to go full aero to compete but that class requires that there isn't anything between the wheel and the body so you will have to modify your shieldsI may not be remembering right, i thought i read something about to be competitive in box stock you neede to run full aero. Fenders/sliders. I may be mistaken but either way need the education.

If you want my opinion, don't run Box Stock. It is more restrictive than scout racing and it is all about finding the lightest wheels. There are older version of the new style wheel that are much lighter and you can no longer get them. Some people do have access to them though. Who wants to buy 100 sets of wheels just to get 3 good ones? Stick with BASX.John, Can we use these shields in the Box Stock division?

As far as if you can, I don't know. I have no ties with NPWDRL any longer. If you can't have anything between the wheel and body then you want the GEE Air Sliders.
Thanks. I will try this and compare the times. You can run the Hurricane air shields... but you have to cut a large hole in the middle so the wheel hub doesn't ride on the plastic shield.
