Wheel Polishing

I am a little confused as to the best way to polish wheels for graphite. I have DD4H's polishing kit, and have read over the directions and searched this forum multiple times, but can't seem to get the process straight in my head. I understand what needs to be done with WB polish #1, but after that i'm uncertain. For WB polish #2, it seems as though I polish using the "fancy" applicator stick and then leave the residual in the wheel, then polish again using a pipe cleaner. Is this correct? After this, do I clean the wheel using alcohol or just leave the residual polish inside the bore? Also, I read on this forum somwhere about burnishing the bore to embed the graghite, but can't seem to locate this discussion now. Any suggestions on this process?

On a related question, I am building multiple cars and on a couple of them I intend to use wheels that were on last years' cars. I did not use the 2 polish method on these wheels. I used the "old" one polish method as per DD4H's directions. Any reccommendations here? Should I clean with alcohol, then repolish or just repolish, or start with a completely new set of wheels and polish using the 2 polish method?

Lastly, thank all of you on this board for being so helpful and willing to share your secrets/methods of building fast cars. My sons' cars have been successful using your methods. Their cars have placed first and second in their pack they last couple years. We have improved our times each year by trying tips/methods suggested here. The questions asked above relate to our attempt to make this years cars faster than last years. Thanks in advance for your help!
