My son and I are getting ready for a PWD race. Below are the wheel rules. I would like to know what wheels I should buy? I was thinking BASX but the wheels can be 7.5mm wide. So then I thought RAGE wheels but not sure what the wheel diameter is on them. Any help in selecting wheels would be great.

Wheels

Type: BSA ONLY

May be CnCed, Lathed, Polished, and/or Sanded to true tread surface

The tread surface must remain flat, and parallel to the bore

No angling, reshaping, rounding, crowning, tapering, H-ing, V-ing, the tread surface of the wheel

Wheel Minimum Diameter 1.180 inches (will be checked with calipers)

Minimum Thread Width 7.5mm

No removing of any material to reduce weight

Lettering must remain on the inside and outside of the wheels

Step removal, and hub coning is allowed

No bushings, sleeves, bearings, or material to be used/added in the wheel bore

just get basx and tell DD4H in the notes that you want 7.5 MM wide i am sure he would do it for you..he might charge 5.00, but then you have exact wheels to fit your rules

what is the difference between the "Rage" and the "BASX" wheels? I do see there is a weight difference between the two, with the Rage description stating that there is no weight removed from the inside of the wheel.

The BASX wheel is 8mm wide and comes in 1.17 or 1.18 diameters. The RAGE is 7.5mm wide but not sure about what diameter the wheel is.

I would buy the BASX wheels at 1.18 diameter and have the wheels cut to 7.5mm width.
