I was surprised to get temporary possession of 17 sets of untouched BSA wheels and 3 sets of untouched Revel wheels. I did what you think I would do. I measured and weighed them. Then I put them back as they came from the packages. Wheel hop and runout were estimated to the best of my ability using calipers and gage pins to compare to. All other specs were checked with pins, calipers and scale. Simply put they all suck. What surprised me was the wheels people prefered over the others. I'm assuming the molds are not as good as when preferences were formed or I'm missing something altogether. What say you all?

Yes, comparing it to gage pins or calipers by eye from axle bore.

Not going to argue that, I should have set up the dial indicator. I have regretted not using a dial indicator from the beginning. But when doing your job you can tell the difference between .500 and .510 inch cylindrical rods by just looking you get lazy. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda, next time I will.
