Looking to tune for Districts in March, I can not sleep and get the sweats thinking about racing. Last year we took 6th behind some guys I am sure are on here also. Just looking to place 3rd or above to move on to Councils at MOA or where they had it last year.

Lots to learn

Don't let it get to you bud. You're going to go as fast as you go whether you sleep or not. It's all the same except the sweets and sleepless nights take a toll on your physical health.

If you have the it that bad you HAVE to race NPWDRL! It's the only way to sooth the fever.

The North Star Council is very competitive and the closest thing you will find to a league level race.
I do believe they opened up the Council race to everyone who wants to participate and have moved it out of the Mall of America.

There is a track located on the south side of Minneapolis. PM/Contact Lightning Boy for the details.

Good luck and hope to see you at the council race...

Its a PWD shop in Rosemount, MN. They have a track (several actually) and tuning workshops almost every night.

Also, FYI, starting last year the Northern Star Council race was open to all scouts rather than just those who placed at districts. So don't sweat the districts too much.

I didn't know this place existed but now I have to see it! Going east to visit the Zeebzob speed shop, even though it's not as close, is still at the top of my list though.
